After former President Jimmy Carter said that he would endorse Barack Obama for president, the Republican National Committee today circulated a video of Carter telling PBS's Charlie Rose in 2006 that Obama lacked the experience necessary to be president.
"I just don't think he's got yet the proven substance or experience to be the president," Carter said
